It honors “Cowboy Joe” who ejected more coaches and players than anyone else. “They all deserved it!” states the Cowboy who is one of the most respected umpires, if not the most feared in Calif. D-30. The Cowboy had a double ejection that year as he ejected a player for throwing equipment, then the coach who came screaming out of the dugout yelling…”Are you happy now Blue?!” (“Now I am”…as he tossed him) This was edited by fellow Umpire…Steve Trotter.
